On the 8th December 2024, Liam ran tech for Yamaha’s Music School Concert which consisted of a variety of performances including keyboards, guitars, singers, piano and violin. The Midas M32R was used and mixed mostly from an iPad, two foldback monitors were used; one placed on the stage and one for me helping me to hear the Front of House mix behind the speakers.
After a few complications during set up everything went smoothly, and the client was happy!
I received a lovely message from the client saying this...
“Reflecting on yesterday’s performance I feel that it’s necessary Liam for me on before of all my staff to thank you for your work. We ‘Nottingham Yamaha Music School’ have been holding concerts in the city for 32 years and were so impressed by your ability to balance the sound to such a high level constantly monitoring throughout every performance such a huge ask with a stage full of 25 different instrument inputs a choir of 20 and a Binns Pipe Organ!Thank you Liam a great job done."
